Missions is a BIG DEAL at Dayspring. We are passionate about telling others about Christ. We Pray for our missionaries, Mentor (Disciple) others, Give to missions, and Educate people about missions. We are excited about our partnership with Bags of Hope! Through this vital ministry, we are reaching the people of Guyana's Rainforest for Christ.

Prayer is the most essential part of our church. We have seen the amazing way in which God answers prayers. As a mission-minded community, we pray for our leaders and churches, and for the Holy Spirit to draw all people to Christ.
We Mentor and involve all people, including youth and children, to make Christlike disciples in the nations. We teach our younger generations to appreciate the mission pioneers, and to aspire to break new ground in sharing the Good News of Christ to the whole world.
We give to missions by participating in global missions funding. We give towards World Evangelism, Missionary Healthcare and Alabaster (which funds the construction of schools, churches and hospitals around the world), among others.
We believe that it is very important to teach others about missions. We want to connect people to Christ- but how will they know about Christ if we do not tell them? Books about the work that missionaries do around the world are available are available FREE- ONLINE or at our Missionary Book Table. Check one out today.
We have embarked on the construction of an enrichment center in the heart of Guyana's Rainforest. Why? Because we want to bring HOPE to the people of Orealla and Siparuta. Some of poorest people in the southern hemisphere can be found in Guyana’s Rainforest.
The Bags of Hope center will provide a place where training and education can take place… A place where the Hopeless can find Hope...A place where lives can be changed. Our goal is to share Christ by serving others...
The project consists of a two-story concrete block building which will house a training center, dormitory, and recreation center. The upper flat will consist of dorms, living quarters for a caretaker, and a conference room. The lower flat will consist of a kitchen, recreation/games room, training room, computer room and a dining room.
As a volunteer and partner with Bags of Hope and the Church of the Nazarene in Guyana, you will feel that deep satisfaction that comes from serving God by serving others. You will share in the joy of knowing that you have been instrumental in changing the lives of an entire community in Guyana’s rainforest!
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35…NOT FOR SELF… BUT FOR CHRIST.
